Arrhythmias are disturbances of the normal heart rhythm.  This can result in a heart beat that is too fast or irregular.  Arrhythmias often cause patients symptoms of racing, skipping, or fluttering of the heart.  In some instances, arrhythmias can lead to patients fainting.  Several common types of arrhythmias are listed below.
