Low Radiation Fluoroscopy

Recent attention has focused on the amount of radiation a patient receives during ablation therapy, particularly with prolonged procedures such as atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia ablation. We make every effort to reduce the amount of radiation a patient receives during the procedure. In addition to sophisticated 3D mapping systems, we also use a low radiation fluoroscopy system designed by Phillips which delivers a fraction of the radiation dose to each patient that conventional fluoroscopy delivers. This allows for a reduced risk of radiation complications after an ablation procedure.
